ELDRA - History

Electro-Draad B.V. was founded in Panheel, the Netherlands, in 1962 and initially manufactured wire and cable for low-voltage electrical engineering applications. In 1978, the company was taken over by B.V. Twentsche Kabelfabriek, based in Haaksbergen, from which the TKH-Group N.V., a listed company, was formed in 1981.

Since 1992, Electro-Draad B.V. has been based at its current premises in the industrial park in Ittervoort since 1992. With high-quality products, Electro-Draad B.V., also known as Eldra for short, is not only now active on the Dutch market, but in over ten European countries as well.

The range of products that Eldra manufactures includes:

  • Low-voltage, heavy current equipment cables
  • Installation wire and assembly flex
  • Flexible conduits
  • Signal and instrumentation cables
  • Special cables

Eldra sells these products in the following markets:

  • In 2012, Eldra aims to obtain certification for its Corporate Social Responsibility programme.

In addition, our products satisfy the quality requirements of the most relevant inspection institutes, such as KEMA, VDE, CEBER, UL, CSA and Lloyd's.
