Level 3 on the CO2 performance ladder

As you know, Eldra places great importance on Corporate Social Responsibility, or CSR. One important aspect of CSR is taking inventory and reducing CO₂ emissions. In 2011, Eldra started tot CO2 performance ladder certification process. This involved introducing a programme for measuring Eldra's carbon footprint, or the total amount of greenhouse gases of CO₂ emitted annually.

On Tuesday 20 September, the certification authority KEMA evaluated Eldra on the basis of the CO₂ performance ladder's "Carbon Footprint" requirements. Eldra passed with flying colours! This evaluation allows Eldra to formulate clear and concrete goals for reducing its CO₂ emissions. This is a major way for Eldra to live up to its social responsibilities. And because of the successful evaluation, Eldra expects to receive level 3 certification on the CO₂ performance ladder in December 2011.
